Any alarm is only as good as its installer. Sounds Alarming follow the VSIB code of practice. But what is the VSIB?
**The VSIB is a national regulatory and accreditation body that outlines a code of practice and guidelines that outline the standards required to install both security and audio equipment correctly. The VSIB was set up in 1994 by the Home Office to help defeat the vehicle crime problem. Until this time there was no supervisory body that ensured that installations were undertaken properly. Incorrect fitting of a product can render it useless and can also cause dangerous malfunctions.
All insurance alarm systems fitted by one of our installers are supplied with a recognised by VSIB. This certificate is required by insurers, as proof that the security system has been installed correctly, in order to receive the insurance premium discounts and to process theft claims settlements
